    When I had 2 400w halideswith 2 110w vho actinics my bill normally during the winter was around $200 then summer around $300 when running the chiller ;).

    Plus side with halides you dont have to turn the heat up much in the house they take care of it lol.

    I dont think my 300w heater ever turned on in the tank lol

    Only time my heaters turn on is middle of the night. My bill did go up because of the chiller but not alot. But I was running 8 bulb t5 before.

    Now I run 2 250 watt radiums 4 t5 and 2 48 inch blue reef brites. Best of all 3. Only run halides 5 hours.
