video test

I'm just testing this out. If you want to watch it great, it's just a vid of frogspawn. Some people asked in another thread how to do it and I'd like to know myself. /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

 

Muahaha. It worked that way. I clicked the "Add media" button next to the pic on the new thread screen and a pop up comes up. Just copy and paste the URL into the box and set the dimensions. I used the default small size given by Youtube, 560x315.

When I submitted, the page came up without the video. Just reload the page and it appears. Viola!

 

Now I'm going to try to just copy the embed code over.  For any who don't know, click share under the video and the embed code box appears.  Copy and paste.


Edit: That didn't work. Things got wonky.

 

Cool, so the only way to upload a video is via YouTube?

 

I'm not sure. I don't have any videos hosted elsewhere, but I believe that Photobucket should work the same way.

 

I tried using photobucket, but couldn't get it to work.
