Tree coral dropping branches

    Does anybody know if tree corals dropping limbs is a seasonal thing? About a year ago my big tree started shedding limbs, this week it looks like it's happening again. During the spring and summer I never noticed it.
    I'm just curious if anybody else notices this timing.

    It could be some type of seasonal thing. If it is a normal, seasonal thing for coral then that's usually a sign that your tank is in pretty good health. If what happens in the wild is happening in your tank then you're probably doing something right.

    My trees are dropping leaves everywhere. Oh wait those are not in my tank.

    I don't know if all trees lose branches, but I know Kenyas will lose branches because that's how they propagate. The branch drops will anchor somewhere and grow.

    My kenyas do that all the time. Just keep an eye out because one Kenya can turn into 30 in a month. They grow fast.

    And once they take root, difficult to remove. If there is the smallest amount of tissue left in a pore in the rock, it will eventually grow back
