snow flake eel

    so looking at getting a snow flake eel.  are they reef safe?  i have a bunch of corals a carpet anemone and sailfin tang blue tang and lion fish.  is this a no no?

    I have one I would love to sell ya, They say reef safe With Caution, but I've only had him in his own tank by himself.

    hmm. i would keep him well fed i just don't want him to eat corals or my other fish. what do you feed him

    shrimp, scallops, tilapia fillet, mussels, crab meat. pretty much any kind of seafood. I just like to vary the diet a bit. I feed him maybe 2-3 times a week. That's it. They love crustaceans, which would be a concern in a reef aquarium. As long as you keep him fed, he's good to go.

    Corals and fish will be ok. however it will eat any shrimp, crabs, and snails in the tank

    snails? how about little maroon clowns?

    Hey bears, the "caution" is because of the size they can get, as they burrow, rock may come dislodged.
    I dont know where you are located, but I think AC&C will have one in this week.
