Possible meeting for Dec.

I would like to get an early start on the prospects of a Dec. meeting.
Last time we got together it was a pretty good turnout, thanks Matt for doing everything to make that happen.
 since it is the end of the yr and christmas time I would like to suggest getting together for dinner someplace reasonable.  Perhaps we can do some kind of frag exchange.
Topics.   Something that has been running through my head lately are the differant kinds of reactors, and what they do for our tanks.   of course there are tons of other options out there and if you have other ideas, please put them out there.  Keep in mind that whatever topic we choose we will need someone that has some knowledge about it. 
  if you have any kind of input or other ideas please do not hesitate to post them.

 

Glad to see you getting an early start on this.  I would like to learn more about reactors, too. 
Maybe try to start with the date, I know with the holidays everyones calendar fills up pretty quick so maybe a set date would help.  Just a suggestion.

 

yeah good idea. id like to shoot for Dec 12th at 4pm or so. Iam going to have to find someone that has knowledge on reactors for the discussion.

 

That date would work for us, how about everyone else. 

 

I might be able to help with that, I know a little about reactors and I think I can make that day.

 

that would be great rick. I also spoke with greenonion and he said he would be happy to speak as well. so between the 2 of you im sure we will get a wealth of information. I am now trying to nail down a place to hold this.

if i can get some confirmations from people that are interested that would help. I will probably be sending out some PMs encouraging people to attend. I realise iam not the trustee in this area and I def dont want to step on anyones toes here, but i am just trying to do my part as a member and help where i can. I would really like to see the QC area get moving

 

I give you permission as I was the trustee for the first half the year to do all you can. I just got overwhelmed with my new job to focus on the club.

 

I will try to make it. I might bring a another along. I just helped RabbitReefer set up his 120 this past weekend.

 

Tasha6 and her husband have generously offered up their home to hold the meeting, They live in eldridge so if that is an issue please let us know. otherwise lets plan on having it there. I think the plan is to have some pizza and gather around her massive tanks after the disccusion.
