PM`s are messed up?

When I try to send pm's it will only let me send them  about half the time the rest of the time it acts like the person i'm trying to send it to dose not exist.
has anyone else had this happen?

 

No. Make sure that you select the user from the list after you type their name in...but PMs have been working fine for me.

I've been having this issue as well. It seems like when you start typing the user name in the "to" box it starts searching for the name and comes up with "no results", it's like the database it's looking up names from is empty. It happens to me all the time. I'm to the point where if I want to PM someone I need to find a place where they posted and click the envelope icon next to their name.

Yep that's exactly what i'm talking about.

 

I can only pm friends everyone else it cant find the name.

 

Seems we have ourselves a problem here. AJ can anything be done about this? dosen't JB fix stuff like this.

JB is looking into it. He suspects it has to do with the way that the PM system handles those who you are "friends" with vs. those that you are not. I'll let him comment more as he is able to troubleshoot things. Just a word of warning, this may not be a quick fix as he currently has bigger fish to fry. We're looking at having to change hosting providers here in the next couple of weeks so there's a lot on his plate right now. Sorry for the inconvenience.

I say just PM people in general forums and ask people not to read it....ahahahahahaha
