I am a little excited. The guy that made it just delivered it. I will be priming it tonight and Herculiner coating it tomorrow.

If you don't mind, how much does a stand like that cost? Do you plan to enclose it?

 

We are going to enclose it with a nice skin eventually, but that is low on the priority list right now.


As far as how much it cost, I really don't know if what he charged would reflect the average as I didn't get any other quotes, but I have personal reasons for doing business with him. He charged me just under $600. It has almost 60 linear ft of steel, so I am sure the raw materials cost was right up there.

 

If it was me when you skin it I would make it so magnets hold the skin on so it can be easily removed for full access under the stand.
