How do you show your location?

Probably a dumb question but how do you show your location?  I'll use Gered as an example with the Slater, IA that shows up with his posts.

 

My GIRS -> My Account/Profile -> Edit Profile

Even with that info I still cannot figure it out. Under my address the dropdown bar says it should be seen by "everyone" yet that doesn't seem to be the case.

 

Click on the "My Settings" link in the upper right corner of the forums.

There is still a bit of a disconnect between your forum profile and your main site profile.

I just did it and this is my test post. Guss it didn't work.

 

I'm the same as Bela - I've tried adjusting the profiles but it doesn't seem to work.  Probably just missing something or maybe I've entered the Twilight Zone!

 

Are you all clicking on "My Settings" link? I just tried it and it worked fine.

If you are changing your main site profile, it will not show up (yet) in the forum display.

 

Yes, I am clicking the my settings link and nothing is changing. Has been this way since the beginning for me.

 

Come tot hink of it... I don't see a location setting anywhere in "my settings"

 

Is it something to do with when u join GIRs as a member?

Click on the "My Settings" link at the top of the FORUMS page, NOT in the profile editor.

Click on the Edit button...
/Portals/0/activeforums_Attach/EditInfoLink.jpg
Enter your location and be sure to click "Save"
/Portals/0/activeforums_Attach/SaveLink.jpg
