FREE: Drilled 40G Breeder with Stand & Lights

I have an older 40G breeder tank and stand that used to be my refugium in my old setup that is taking up space in my garage and I'd like to find a new home for it. I also have a (cheap) 36" T5 fixture that will fit over it and/or some DIY T5 parts that would work for lighting too (waterproof endcaps, ballasts and reflectors).


The tank is drilled and has a DIY overflow. The tank is pretty dirty and needs a good cleaning. It's definitely not going to make a good display tank, but it would make a fine refugium or frag tank.


All of this is FREE to a good home with the following Caveats:


1) It actually needs to be something you can and WILL use for your setup. I'm not giving it away so you can turn around and sell it for a profit. If it turns out that you can't use it, you MUST give it to another GIRS member for free.


2) You must be a current GIRS member as of the timestamp of this posting.


I'm located in Marion and should be around in the evenings this week or all day this weekend if you want to come pick it up... The first eligible person (see above) who shows up gets it. Please don't ask me to hold it for you.


I would not turn down any SPS/LPS/Zoa/Paly frags if someone wanted to donate something to my new tank it return, but this is certainly not required.
