Favia Question

    I brought a Favia Coral home from my nephews tank as it wasn't doing well for him, The question is, it is  letting off a slimmy cob web looking stuff, why is this??

    I can't tell you what the slime is, but it's pretty normal for LPS to let-off-slime when they're disturbed. I've thought I killed corals before when they start sliming....but, they always popped back in a day or so. I would keep a close eye on it. If it doesn't look better in a day or 2, you might have an issue.

    May wanna check into brown jelly disease and find some pictures to see if that is what is going on.
