Was looking at the JBJ on BRS for 80 dollars. Will this work? Any other ideas?

I think they both work differently, if the BRS is the 50ml doser.

I like the pressure sensor at avast marine.

I just bought a JBJ. I haven't set it up yet. Seems like a good product. I was using a gravity fed ATO in my 180 but I have to put my RO reservoir in the basement in our new house, so I needed something else.

No. I've been using a pair of float switches and relay box that I got in a do-it-yourself kit from aquahub.com and it has worked flawlessly for me for more than 5 years. I did have a solenoid fail on me (I've got my ro plumed directly to my kalk stirrer) So then I got a pressure regulator on the front end of my ro system.

I loved autotopoff.com. Super cheap and easy to set up. Except for having to add hundreds of feet of wire because of how far away my RO water is from my sumps. Haha. But I would of had to do that with any brand ato. It was like 50 bucks for dual sensor, brackets and everything. Pretty damn good for me! Why didn't I set ato up years ago?!?!

I liked the pressure switch used on the tsunami. 60 bucks at aqua cave.

I second autotopoff.com. Mines been running for about 5 years no issues. I have the dual float switch as a back up.

I have the Tunze Osmolator which is very pricey for an ATO, but I love it and it has never failed me.

I would ilke to comment that yes I own an autotopoff too.

However there is new technology out there. For example the pressure switch mentioned by me and mthomp, which is far more reliable than any float type switch. I use one on my skimmer locker and have considered replacing my float type autopoff switches as well but haven't. There is also laser eyes that detect the level of water and dose top off water with a doser.

Hey Potroast what would be the easiest to install? How much is the one from reefbuilders?

And do I have to have a controller for that?

I have autotopoff also and it has clogged with tube worms once and stuck in the up/off position. I like the pressure switch idea much better, thanks for posting that link
