Condy help

    So my new condy decided he didnt like his spot so hes moved under some of my rockwork. Im afraid he wont get the light he needs ...

    He moved because he wasn't happy. Could have been flow issue, could have been something else bugging him. Looks like red-leg hermits are a no no with condy's according to this. http://www.liveaquaria.com/product/prod_display.cfm?c=497+499+619&pcatid=619 Do you have any of them?

    He was completely exposed. I figured too much flow but im afraid now he wont get light

    I would think if it's not getting enough light, it will move into more light. I had one of those a couple years ago, it lived 24 hours before getting sucked through mu overflow.

    Yeah it'll move if it deems that that isn't a good spot, which I wouldn't be surprised if it did. Unfortunately with nem's most of the time we don't get to pick the spot it ends up. It chooses its own spot, and we have to work around it. What do you have for pumps in your tank? That is areal issue to be mindful of as its settling in and finding its spot. You don't want nem soup.

    Its a 29 biocube. All there is, is a koralia 1 on the back wall.

    Remember you just increased your lighting. Its not used to you yet. Give it time to acclimate

    I just bought it the same day as the upgrade. It was at petco under leds. Junk ones I'm sure

    Give it a week or two and see if it moves mine will come out for a few hours of light then go back in to it hole that it likes

    I'm sure it just needs some time. I just don't want it to harm itself...
