Does anybody have any experience or knowledge of Anthony's Water Return Manifold?

The idea of keeping pumps and powerheads out of the tank is appealing but I haven't seen or heard of anybody actually using this method.

    I tried it.

The problem I had was with several openings the water just trickled out, not much pressure.

If you run an external pressure pump like a Iwakii it may work, I never tried that.

I tried it on a small scale when I was setting up my 10g and had the same issues as mentioned above. Going with more flow would have just been too much for my tank of mostly softies so it was a bust too LOL

+1 on the bigger pump. But also if you use Lock Line Threaded Adapter and the Lock Line Flares. It would help increase the flow coming out of the PVC

i had one similiar to it set up a while ago, and liked it. +1 on the idea.
you can size and balance the outlets with the size of pvc you use for output
