So in my sump I have black algae growing. Is this because of low flow and poor lighting? I know I need to change my filters in my RO but it seems like it is increasing quickly. Thanks

Are you sure it's not mold/mildew?

I had an outbreak of Dinos in one tank because of snow melt spiking the water quality and a bunch got through my RODI right before the TDS started coming up. The TDS still read zero but the water smelled funny, though I didn't notice. I had a bunch of gooey brown/black globs in my sump. Is that what you're getting?
