any one play FPS type games?

FPS games are my first love in gaming, I currently play quakelive.com. it is basically quake3  browser based and free.

 

I tried that recently at the request of a friend. It kept crashing my browser and I never worked to find out the root cause...just stopped using it. I used to play a lot of FPS games back in the day (was in a LAN Party group called the Cedar Rapids Network Gaming Group), but I don't have time for many these days, and those that I do have time for, are played on the XBox 360. Mainly one of the many COD games and Rock Band are the games that I play. Aside from that, my 360 is just a glorified Media Center Extender and NetFlix player for the kids. Play any RTS games? I used to really enjoy AoE2.

thats wierd it crashed your browser, what browser do you use if i may ask? Im a strict firefox user myself and never had a problem on any of our systems.

 

Firefox. I have a feeling it was more video driver related than browser related. It's a Vista machine that's in dire need to be upgraded to Windows 7. My last Vista machine...

i play cod/uo sniper servers and been playing in base assult. havent played in a couple months now too busy.

i'm all about fps's, but i gotta warn ya, the 1 tourney i went to that was 30-35 people, i smoked them all and won.. lol

my son plays cross fire, but i prefer quake myself.
