48v DC Power Supply Needed!

    Anyone have a spare 48v 180w (ish) power supply in the DM area that I can buy or borrow? Or know of a place in town I can get one? Mine died tonight and I need to get a replacement as soon as possible.

    Try batteries plus or radio shack.

    Actually radio shack won't have that. Might try 3E right off 235 & 8th by wal-mart in WDM

    Which is also near interstate batteries, which might be another place to check

    I checked everywhere I could and no one carries 48v. Went ahead an ordered a nice one off Amazon for about $35. Our office gets 2nd day shipping free, so that should help. I have a Par38 bulb I can use for the next couple days.

    I'm ashamed to say that the old power supply actually fell into my RO bucket. I had it sitting on a shelf inside my stand and my (soon to be dead) cat yanked on the wires and pulled it off. It dunk tanked for about a full minute. Looks like it only blew the fuse but when we tried to work around it a huge resistor popped. I'm just hoping that the fuse in the power supply blew before it did any damage to my MakersDrivers.

    Yes, I learned my lesson. Ug...
