Was missing some of my old fish and was going thru old pics I took last
year and figured I'd upload this first time reef vid I chopped together
Real quick back in January. Everything was taken with my cam phone
So low def compared to ones I c on you tube which made me want to
try out making my own. Just some stuff from 2012. Didn't alter anything, just used movie
maker to throw in some transitions. Hope someone enjoys, I thought
    It was kinda cool /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

Thanks! was hoping someone would think it was ok /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif

Thats my cabbage leather, it gets the sparkle to it from the natural sunlight coming thru the back/top of the tank in the morning with just the actinics on. love when it happens, but rare as the sun has to hit just right and its always pretty early, seems it only shines in during the fall, sun/earth position in relation to my window i guess. It also would shine the galaxia in the vid too with the sweepers out. Sun just shines in from behind/top and gives a cool effect.

I would have never guessed that was a cabbage. I didn't think a cabbage could sparkle under any light. I figured it was some SPS. I'll have to watch it again now that I know that.

the corals not actually sparkling, just the sunlight reflecting off the surface of the water and shining thru behind the leather. It only has that effect when the sun comes up in the morning during the fall. I have a window partially behind my tank and the light catches the right side of the tank just right to give the "sparkle". In the vid there is just one actinic on and the sun coming thru the window. Used to shine behind my galaxea also and gave it a "on fire" look. Saw it and had to get it on video, ill have to c if i can find the "on fire" galaxea pic, it was pretty cool.
