So I picked up a couple of small Zoa frags.. Rasta's and Devils Armor.. The Devils armor is about 12 polyps.. 4 of the polyps were fully open the same night I put them in.. Today all day they have been open and then now all of them are closed tight.. Am I just paranoid here? All water Parameters check out..

The Rastas are about a 5 polyp frag and are all wide open and have been sinec they were introduced..

Just give it some time. Mine close up all the time and I freak out, then I noticed a crab was just walkin on them. If they stay closed for a long period of time then you have reason to be concerned.

Do yours close up when the lights are out too? Lights went out and now the Rastas are closed up

Zoas will open and close as they want :0) I can have just 1 polyp closed among 50 others! Most of my zoas will close when the lights are off; they like to sleep too :-0) lol

Yeah I never kept too many Zoas before.. Mostly SPS and LPS.. But half of the frag was open when I put it in the tank last night and one polyp today has been WIDE open and the others just ok.. Then I walk by tonight with the lights on and the whole frag is closed.. So of course in classic reef fashion I freaked.
