Vortech users.

I have 1 MP40 and is the only powerhead in my tank.  i would like to know what your favorite modes are.   I been playing mostly with tidal swell and nutrient transport modes  but also know those would work better with at least one more vortech.

For the SPS tank I like the reefcrest mode.

For the LPS tank I like the lagoon mode.

I usually turn my speeds up or down every couple of days just to make things more random yet.

 

Im wondering if i should lower it down the tank, it is currently about 4-6 inchs from the top. I just find it hard to believe this one power head is supplying enough flow for a sps tank.

 

I have 2 on anti sync long pulse, but its pretty short pulses

 

You probably will want another one at some point. I have 2 on my 90 and am thinking about adding another or a pair of tunze.

 

450 bucks is hard to swallow is all but I know you are right.  I can see the benefit of having two facing eachother , and then a k3 or 2 on the back bottom pushing up.

 

I hear yea there man. I got mine with tax refund money and that's how I plan on getting some more.

 

yup thats what im going to do as well, another mp40 and new lights.
