For those of you out there that ship frags to people....what carrier do you use? Specifically, if you use UPS and you ship in Iowa, does it ALWAYS arrive the next day?

I am shipping Fedex overnight and it costs quite a bit more than regular UPS ground. Wondering if I could trust UPS or not.....

Finally, I ALWAYS get my Bulk Reef Supply order next day, coming from Minnesota, via UPS. Is this the case with you guys?

I know a lot of online vendors are refusing UPS due to their poor delivery and rough handling on boxes. If you look around on ebay there's some sellers who don't use UPS either.

If your shipping within Iowa I think USPS normally has packages delivered by the next bus day

I use UPS out of convenience.  Both UPS and FedEx are about the same in cost and service.  If you are going to ship to someone else using UPS ground, make sure they are within the days in transit map from your zip code.
The only advantage to using overnight is that you can pay extra for express/priority and get it there by 10:30 or noon to most locations.  Ground service delivery can vary from morning until end of day.

I have used UPS ground within the 1 day range as Slovan mentioned, no problems. Always has come the next day and I believe it's about $14....

Proablly depends too on what kind of frags your shipping, alot of Zoas and Palys are shipped two days with heat packs and will stay living. But high end stuff, and SPS, and LPS I would ship next day.

I think FEDEX as a delivary time of either 1030 or before noon.  But UPS will delivary whenever, they don't have a strong garnutee on time.
