I managed to crack the collection cup on my euroreef skimmer today. Is it possible to just glue the crack back together? If so what do I want to glue it with?
Luckily I don't need it yet, so I am not in a rush. I'll probably end up replacing the skimmer at some point. But I was hoping to get by with what I had until I got some more money saved up.

If it's acrylic use weld-on. It'll work just fine.

I dropped my skimmer cup from my ASM G-5 and had a really nice sized hole on the side was a little bigger than a golf ball. I pieced it back together with rubber bands, loctite super glue gel, and then glazed it with weldon 16. And it took alot of patience cause not all the pieces were cooperating with me. Took nearly 2 hrs but it was either spend $7 on a tube of weldon,(already had the rubber band & super glue), or $65 replacement cup. Even though a new skimmer sounds nice too. Thats my experience.

If it is just cracked use Weldon #4 with a syringe. Make sure you rinse the crack out if it has any salt in it, or the glue wont hold. Just squirt a little in the crack ( you will see it fill in) and hold it together for a few minutes and it should be good to go.

I'll try getting some Weldon. Is that something that would be available locally, or would I need to order it?

You need to get that from an acrylic supplier. There is one in CR currently, can't remember the name of it.
