Does anyone know who makes a quarantine container that I can hang over the edge of a tank that has holes in it? Need to quarantine an anemone so I can target feed. The ones I have seen are around 50.00 but there has to be a cheaper option? Was tempted to drill holes in my fish bagger but was worried about sharp edges.
    Thanks!!

get a little cricket carrier, put a couple extra holes in it. Better to melt with a hot iron then drill if you can as drilling can leave sharp edges

I have the acclimate by reef gently . It attaches to the aquarium with suction cups and it also has holes in it.

even a small plastic food container should work if you can find a way to attach it. I think craigs idea of a hot iron would work best to put holes in plastic to avoid sharp edges.

yeah-it is the attaching part that worries me. will have rock rubble in it and don't want something that will crash to the bottom because the suction cups gave out. That is why I was wanting something that hangs over the top of the tank. I might try the hot iron on my fish bagging container. thanks guys!

Use a cleaning magnet to attach it to the tank. We use that to attach fishtrap to tank and it has never failed and it is glass so quite a bit heavier.

Take the PVC molded PVC pipe hangers (that you would nail to the wall). Mount them to the container you want to use by nylon bolts. Hang to inside of tank.
If you use glass container, Menard's sells glass drill bits in a pack of 3 from 1/8 to 3/8. Works perfect on acrylic as well.

You know those dishwashing sponge holders that go in the corner of the sink they are held on by suction cups I know you didn't want that but they also have holes throughout the holder to let water flow through. Just throwing that out there.

I ended up using a basket from the dollar store attached to PVC pipe hangers. Found the nem, which was in bad shape and now nursing it back. My container isn't pretty but gets the job done <img src='/DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default//emoticons/smile.gif' align="absmiddle" border="0" class="afEmoticon" />
