Jeanette and I were discussing doing another DIY food event, but due to various reasons we decided to reach out to Mermaid's Cove about doing a group buy instead.

Short version: if we can get up to 40 bags (normally $25 for a 10ox bag), we can get a volume discount of 40% off. Target group buy price: $15/bag

My plan is to have all orders/commitments locked in by Monday March 16th for shipping, and then bags will be available starting mid-week or at ReefingUSA in West Des Moines in 3/22 (which is a mile from my house, and I have a deep freeze)

This is not limited to GIRS Members. Anyone can participate, GIRS makes $0 off this, and I'm volunteering my time to coordinate and collect funds etc.
