Well, it's been a long time debating, but I just ordered the Gryphon XL saw.
I'm sure I'll be busy with it this week and maybe next. Not sure if I want to do this out of the kindness of my heart or charge a fee(or frag) but either way get ahold of me if you want to hook up to cut abunch of frags. I'll of course come to you, perhaps willing to come to surrounding areas but let me know if you're interested. Easiest would be weekdays after 4-5pm and weekends.

Figured I would do this more so people can spread the love. PM me for more.

I will need to get a saw one of these days. What made you decide on that model?

Motors on top, built for corrosion resistance, geared towards frag cutting. And it's not too terribly expensive. Have heard good things about it.
I wish it had more vertical clearance but haven't seen too many out there that are bigger and don't cost a lot more.. If I could I would just buy a water saw
I'm sure it beats the heck out of a dremel.

I have the same saw. Works great. I agree on the vertical clearance, but the XL was the largest I saw geared towards saltwater uses.

I might be interested in getting some frags...from anyone splitting their corals

I have the regular Gryphon and it makes fragging a dream. It was the only version available when I bought mine so I'm kind of jealous on the extra vertical room. You wont be disappointed at all. Super easy to setup/dial in and tear down/clean.

O another thing if anyone is thinking of getting one hold off and wait till BRS has the black friday sale......;););). But honestly at any price its worth every penny.

Yup. I love my gryphon saw. Way better than a dremel.
