WOOOOT! Yet another great reason to spend the $20 on membership. Every GIRS function I have been to I learned cool stuff from friendly people. I am *totally* going to be at this one too.

If you are on the fence for joining, I got my $20 back at the Fall fest.....about 10 times over. The Raffle gave me stuff I needed to have but did not really want to budget for. I'm saving up for more tickets for the spring fest!

What does $20 get you? Unlimited answers from folks that have been in the hobby forever, and many of them are pros. People just plain *throw* frags at you, frags that would cost a fortune on line. The folks that don't do them for free, charge rates so low it is just plain silly.

Heck, I'm looking *forward* to when my dues come up again; I feel like I'm cheating somebody.

 

I might have to make a road trip for this!

 

when in april thats only about 20 mons from my house would like to make it

 

I am in for a road trip on this one Austin! Wish I was closer I would have you help me polish my tank B-rad

 

I would defintially be up for a road trip too, I would like to see some of this stuff. Its on a sunday too, which works good.

 

I just got that 100 gallon sump we could polish /DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/smile.gif

 

I should bring pictures of my tank under the repair direction of BRad..../DesktopModules/ActiveForums/themes/_default/emoticons/biggrin.gif

I still need to buff out a few areas on there....

Just an up date, I will building my new sump and will have some other stuff to do also.
I'm currently building a frag tank for FishBrain, and will be doing some final prep work on that, and cutting some acrylic for Saltwaternewbee's frag tank also.
Should be a good meeting, I will have some snacks and drinks.
Just one thing, (it is loud and I will be running power tools so please no kids at this meeting, for safety)!!!!!

When I was down at Fishbrain's on Sunday I think I might have convinced him to come up. Same with PotRoast.

 

I will deff be trying to make it. Rick any chance the tank will be done at the meeting? If so I will deff make the trip.
