April Meeting

Hey everyone, just thought I would see how many people are interested in attending a meeting at the end of this month.  Gered and I are still working out the details on it but I think we are going to have a meeting on redundancy with open discussion.  
What does everyone think?

 

I know what redundancy means but not in relation to the aquarium. Can you provide a brief overview so I can get the jist of it? Thanks Joe!

 

I'd attend, but probably won't be here.  I'm leaving on April 26th for a 2 1/2 week vacation to Europe.

 

I'll plan to attend - got any dates/times/places in mind?

 

i will be hunting the great iowa turkey... oh it will be mine....oh it will. -sorry won't be there.

 

Okay so how does this sound everyone?

On April 30th we will have a small tank tour/ redundancy discussion. What I think would be kind of cool is to have a tank tour with less stops and more discussion at each one. The main topic of discussion will be redundancy and what you have done to protect your tank.

If anyone is interested in showing your tank in a usual tank tour fashion and having some discussion around redundancy, please let me know here by posting. And don't be shy, we are not here to criticize your tank(s).

 

I would be up for the april 30th day and anything that goes with it.

I'd like to but I probably won't be able to. Had to bring my mom in to our home ;-(

 

I would love to check out other peoples tanks. I am a new member and I am sure I could learn alot during the discussions. Count me in just keep me informed.

Gered and I have both had very busy work schedules this week so we apologize for not posting on this thread as much.

Since there isn't a huge amount of interest in the meeting and I only have my tank and Matt's for the tour portion, we might do a more informal meeting with a lot of discussion. Maybe we can order some food or something as well.

As of right now, we will meet at my house in the afternoon around 4 or 5pm. Those of you that posted, what time works best for you? I would like to hear some opinions so the turnout will be better.

If anyone wants me to bring my DIY led fixture I'm am working on and finish it at the meeting I can so we could have a DIY led meeting and we can discuss the advantages and disadvantages of DIY leds and AI leds
