The best printers are very expensive . Most of the cheap ones extrude a wax like rope into what you are printing.

Have you looked into them at all Craig? I have because I like to invent and I love solidworks!

This is a link to a personal one, but again its like most of the personal ones that use a Rope style plastic to build the project.

I dont know a thing about them, just starting my research.

I am looking to 3d print some honeycomb for my bees. It takes them alot of time & energy to make the comb, so I want to experiment & draw some out for them & see if they will use it

The cheaper ones will work for you then. Keep me posted if you get one

    Thanks

I need to find someone who has one who can do a test print for me to see if the bees will accept & use it or not before I spend a ton of money on it.

I was listening to the radio the other day (RadioLab) and they said alot of cities have stores that are starting to print what you want for you if you bring in the file. May want to try calling Kinkos or libraries.

Idk if they still have it but the Cad department at Kirkwood in Cedar Rapids had one.
